Joe Scott Sr.
For as long as I can remember my peace and tranquility has been found on the rivers fishing. As a small boy I grew up on the Grand River in Southern Ontario fishing mostly for suckers for my grandmother.
At the age of 12, my family and I moved to Northern Alberta, where I found the mighty Athabasca and the Clearwater Rivers. This gave me new fishing opportunities, big Northern Pike and Walleye, well I was in my Glory!
After enjoying fishing in the great white north for 15 years or so, my son was born and I decided that the north was not for us. Off to British Columbia we went where I found the Fraser River, the Chilliwack River and the Shuswap river ~ now I’m in God’s Country. After running the Fraser River salmon and sturgeon fishing for over 15 years and meeting some really great people, it is time to share my experiences with others…
I have obtained all certifications as a licensed Angling guide, Marine First Aid, Pleasure Craft Operators Certificate, Small Vessel Operators Permit and Med A3 meeting all requirements for Transport Canada and Fish and Wildlife.
Joe Scott Jr.
Joe Jr. has been fishing all rivers, big and small, since he was a child. He started running Jet boats at the age of 10 Years old. As an adrenalin seeker, he has run the Mighty Thompson River where few people like to go, as the canyon and the rapids can be very unforgiving.
The Shuswap River running the back channels which is just way too much fun.
Having grown up on the Fraser River he knows it well and loves it. He has been catching salmon since before he was able to reel them in, but with a little bit of help he managed quite well and has been hooked on this way of life ever since.
This is what makes him a well rounded river Guide, with certifications as a licensed fishing guide, Marine First Aid, PCOC and Med A3 meeting all requirements for Transport Canada and Fish and Wildlife.
